In this episode of boars and hunters you shall see the driven hunt in Bulgaria. Among the wild forests of the Balkan we shall start together with the untiring beaters and their fearless hunting dogs a chase of the smart wild boars. You shall witness again many precise hits. In the episode of Boars and Hunters we shall make you direct witnesses of a real war between dogs and boars. You will have to see the behaviour of the wild inhabitants prior to the drives thanks to the skilful sneak of our camera men. Episode 7
In this episode of Boars and hunters we shall get to know the life of the wilid inhabitants in the winter. We shall go to the hunting territories one day before the start of the winter batoo for wild boars. After which we shall witness a real invasion of boars, going through snow-drifts and fallen branches in their wild run far away from the raging dogs. Episode 10
We are opening of the winter season of the drives for boars together with three very good Russian hunters. We shall see the aftermath from the wolves' attacks in the hunting territories. And we shall be present at ambushing a muphlon and a fallow deer in the day before the drives. And during the drives we shall have a big surprise. One of our Russian guests was able to shoot a boar with record sized tusks. Besides that Ivan has fallen down many other boars in the snow, it turned out that the trophy of the fallen boar is a record for the region of the hunting forestry. The monstrous tusk are long more than thirty four centimetres and are real reason for envy among all other participants in the hunt. Episode 11
In this episode of Boars and hunters we shall have a trip to Asia. In the high mountains of Alania we shall check if it is possible to make drives for wild boars. In this episode of Boars and hunters we shall participate in a traditional driven hunt in the autumn. We shall get to know if a hunter attacked by the wild boars could be stopped by one buttstock. We will participate together with the beaters at first line in the clashes and the close encounters with the chased by the hunting dogs boars to see many precise shots. Shall the beaters be able to overcome the hard terrain. They will search the fallen from a storm trees in order to chase the big sounders hiding in the bushes, towards the ambush spot which is prepared by the hunters? In this episode of Boars and hunters we shall be together with several Russian hunters on the Danube delta. In Romania we shall go in the swampy regions, thickly grown with reed and fern, in order to prove the preciseness and quick reaction with the hunt for pheasants, partridges and ducks. Will the hunters be able, as they have shotgun slugs and small pellets, to cope with the challenge, as they find several boars among the high reed? What you need to know to survive during the Batoo
The main and most important rule is to think always for your safety first and for the safety of your colleagues. You never shall shoot when there is danger in the direction of the shot to be other hunters or people. You should shoot only to a clearly visible target and you should avoid shooting on noise or when visibility is damaged. You should always select a place for ambush in the vicinity of a tree or trunk behind which you could hide from the possible attack of a wounded boar. You shall not shoot on a fast moving animal if in the close vicinity to it there are dogs. They are best friend of human and for sure the best battle friend of the hunter. The female animals are prohibited for shooting. They are the future of the hunted species and the hunt could be done only if there is enough growth of young animals. The precise shooting on fast running boars is possible only after previous tactical preparation and practical mastering of the target leading with the necessary for the particular situation preleading. You shall hunt only in the officially announced hunting territories of the hunting forestries. Have your guns loaded only during the drives. The hunted boars are an attractive and prestigious hunting species but you shall not forget that the trophy, which they bear, could easily be used against you. You should remember that every drive leads to at least one dog being harmed by the meeting with the sharp tusks of the boars and every second day at least one beater is facing the risk of injury.
